sent to a very useful website that will provide you with interactive games that
will improve your vocabulary and comprehension of the language. Some of the interactive games have audio, so
make sure you are in an area where you can listen or have your headphones
plugged in. Explore the other tabs that are at the top so that you can also
practice verb tenses, spelling, and challenge yourself with the advanced
section. This site is perfect for
students in Spanish 1, and well as incoming Spanish 2 students. The advanced section is perfect to any level
of Spanish.

Quiz yourself! Click on the picture above- it will send you to a page that offers flash card activities for all Spanish levels. Pick one that is appropriate for the class. Once you pick that appropriate level, it will give you multiple options on how to study the vocabulary. There are several options under “Study.” Clicking one the option “Ca_rds” will send you to another page where you will review each flash card on-by-one by scrolling down the page. This feature is neat because you can scroll over the word, and it will pronounce it for you. Knowing how to pronounce words in Spanish is important. Once you have studied, quiz yourself, or play the games offered below the “Study” section.

By clicking the image above, you will be sent to a website where you can practice your conversational skills, play games, and review vocabulary. It will directly take you to the Spanish Grammar, Videos & Quizzes section for level 1. More videos can be found my selecting the Home page and clicking on Spanish videos with English. The videos will be in Spanish and the subtitles will be in English. Watching these video can help you better understand Spanish in comparison to English grammar. It will also allow you to listen to Spanish spoken within context. Come check this one out!

An example of this is clicking “Ojalá que llueva café.” Once you've clicked on this link you will be brought to a page that has photos, a song, and activities to solely focus on the practice of the subjunctive. Each module focuses on a different aspect of the language. For additional practice, check out the right hand column. It has a list of additional activities that you can have fun doing. Oh, don’t forget to sing along to the songs!
